• Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Library and Information Science (B.Lib.I.Sc) degree from a recognized Indian university or institute.

How to Attend the Counseling

1. Ensure you have already submitted your online application for M.Lib.I.Sc admission 2026-27.
2. Take a printout of your online application form.
3. Carry original and self-attested photocopies of all required certificates.
4. Reach the venue by 10:30 AM on 17 September 2026 at the Department of Library & Information Science, Department of Evening Studies, The Mall, Shimla-01.
5. Bring any applicable category certificates (EWS, single girl child, HPU employee ward, sports/cultural, J&K migrant) if relevant.

Important Instructions

• Only candidates with a B.Lib.I.Sc degree from a recognized Indian university/institute should attend.
• Both original documents and photocopies are mandatory.
• The Single Girl Child Certificate must state that the candidate is the only girl child of her parents.
