Age Details

• Birth range for eligibility: 01 January 2005 to 01 July 2009. Minimum age at the time of application is 17 years; maximum age for enrolment is 22 years.

Eligibility Details

Age and Birth Dates

• Unmarried male candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (inclusive) are eligible. The upper age limit on enrolment is 22 years.

Marital Status

• Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation/pass in equivalent examination from an Education Board recognised by the Central Government, a State Government, or a Union Territory, as on the date of registration.

Mandatory Medical Standards

• Candidates must meet the medical standards specified by the IAF, including height, chest expansion, vision, hearing, dental, and general health norms as detailed in the Information Brochure.

General Disqualifications

• Use of narcotics or banned substances; permanent tattoos outside permitted areas; other standard disqualifications as per IAF guidelines.
