Age limits (as per notification)

• Agniveervayu: Born 01 July 2005 to 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive); upper enrolment age not to exceed 22 years.
• Medical Assistant: Age limits vary by route; commonly around 21 years (10+2 route) up to 24 years (Diploma/Pharmacy route).

Eligibility overview

Age, Marital Status, and Qualifications

• Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027: Unmarried Indian male and female candidates, born within the window 01 July 2005 to 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive), with the required educational qualifications (Science and Non-Science streams) as specified in the official notification. Upper age limit on enrolment must not exceed 22 years.
• Airmen Group Y Medical Assistant 02/2027: Male Indian citizens and Gorkha (Nepal) candidates, with the required 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/English or Diploma/Pharmacy route qualifications, with age as per the respective route (ranges specified in the notification).
• For both posts, domicile categories and other shortlisting criteria apply as notified.

• Online Registration Begins: 06-07-2026 (1100 Hrs)
• Online Registration Ends: 26-07-2026 (2300 Hrs)
• Online Examination: 22-23 September 2026
• Provisional Select List (PSL): Last week of May 2027
• Enrolment List Publication: After 01 June 2027 (Agniveervayu) / 01 June 2027 (Medical Assistant)

Application Fee

• All candidates: ₹550 + 18% GST (non-refundable, paid online via net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI).

How to apply

• Applications must be submitted entirely online in two steps through the CASB portal: registration and application form submission.
• Select five preferred examination city choices during registration.
• Fee payment is required after submitting the form. Keep a printed copy of the submitted application for reference.

Documents to carry for Phase II testing

• Phase II Admit Card and filled application form (color printout)
• Eight passport-size photos
• Educational certificates and marksheets (10+2/Intermediate/Diploma/Vocational)
• Diploma/B.Pharma/B.Sc Pharmacy certificate (Medical Assistant route only)
• Domicile/COAFP or SOAFP certificate (as applicable)
• Original Phase I Admit Card with Air Force seal and invigilator’s signature
• NCC certificate (if applicable)
• Additional stationery as advised

DigiLocker certificates are accepted with a printout and accessible mobile device for verification.

Medical and Physical Standards

• Height, vision, and chest measurements vary by post; detailed standards are provided in the official notification.
• Physical Fitness Test includes running, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats with defined timings.
• Medical examination follows the written and physical tests; unresolved medical issues may be appealed via the Medical Board with applicable fees.

Important notes

• No TA/DA for travel or medical examinations.
• Change of exam center or center dates requests are not entertained.
• PSL validity and the selection process are merit-based; be wary of intermediaries. Updates are published only on the official CASB portal.
