Age Details

• RA-I: Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
• SRF: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women.

Age relaxations as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC.

Eligibility Details

Research Associate-I (RA-I)

• Ph.D. OR M.Sc. in Agril. Biotechnology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Biochemistry, Life Science, Bioinformatics with at least 3 years of research experience after master's degree and at least one research paper in a Science Citation Index journal.

Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

• Postgraduate Degree in Basic Science or Professional Course with NET/CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship) and GATE, or selection through a national-level exam by central government departments (e.g., DST, DBT), along with two years of research experience in the relevant field.

Application Fees

How to Apply

• Eligible candidates should bring one recent passport-size photograph, original educational certificates from matriculation onwards, and relevant experience certificates.
• Download and fill the biodata form from the website; submit during certificate verification.
• Attend the walk-in interview on the prescribed date, time, and venue at ICAR-CRRI, Cuttack.
• No candidate will be entertained after the specified times for SRF (10:00 AM) and RA-I (3:00 PM).
• If currently employed, provide a No-Objection Certificate from the current employer.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Important Notes

• Positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (initially up to 31.03.2026, extendable to August 2028).
• Service will terminate automatically after project expiry; no absorption rights in ICAR-CRRI.
• The Director reserves the right to modify the number of positions or cancel the process.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
