Age Limits

• Senior Research Fellow: Up to 35 years (men) and up to 40 years (women).
• Office Assistant: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 55 years.
• Community Mobilizer: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 55 years.

Qualifications by Post

• Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Soil Science, Agronomy, Meteorology, or Agricultural Physics/Physiography and a 4-5 year Bachelor’s degree; or a Postgraduate degree in Botany/Life Science/Geology/Geography/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Sensing and Remote GIS/Geoinformatics with 3 years of Bachelor’s and 2 years of Master’s, with NET qualifications and 2 years of research experience; or Ph.D. in Botany/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Plant Breeding/Life Science/Earth Science/Geology/Geography/Remote Sensing and GIS/Geoinformatics.
• Office Assistant: Graduate in Agriculture, Science, Commerce, or any discipline.
• Community Mobilizer: Matriculation with +2 vocational in agriculture-related subject, or experience in agriculture/allied subjects; or Matric with Diploma in agriculture.
