Age

Eligibility Details

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Plant Biochemistry, Plant Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, or related fields from a recognized institution with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a 3-year Bachelor’s degree and 2-year Master’s degree should have NET qualification.

Young Professional-II (YP-II)

• Postgraduate degree (M.Sc.) in Plant Biochemistry, Plant Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Environmental Science, or Bioinformatics.

Walk-in Procedure

• This is a contractual appointment under ICAR norms. Salary details:
  • JRF: Rs 31,000 per month + HRA (27%) for years 1-2; Rs 35,000 per month + HRA (27%) in year 3.
  • YP-II: Rs 42,000 per month (consolidated).
