Age limit

Maximum age for SRF: 35 years. Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and women; 3 years for OBC.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture or related Life Sciences with specialization in Vegetable Science, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Physiology, Plant Biotechnology, Botany, or related subjects, and 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
• OR Master’s degree with 3-year Bachelor’s degree and valid NET/UGC/CSIR/ICAR qualification or equivalent, or Ph.D, in the relevant disciplines.
• Two years of research experience in recognized institutions or ST/RS organizations.
• Desirable: Experience in plant tissue culture.

Desirable qualifications

Candidates with relevant research experience in the field and publications will be preferred.
