Age Limits

• Senior Research Fellow: 21 to 35 years for men and 40 years for women (with relaxations as per rules for ST/SC/OBC).
• Young Professional-II: 21 to 45 years (with relaxations as per ICAR/Government of India rules).

Senior Research Fellow - Essential Qualification

• M.Tech./M.E. or Postgraduate in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Remote Sensing GIS/Geospatial Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Water Resources Engineering, or an equivalent engineering subject with a four-year B.Tech or B.E degree.

Young Professional-II - Essential Qualification

• M.Tech./M.E. or Postgraduate in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Remote Sensing GIS/Geospatial Technology, Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent engineering subject with a four-year B.Tech or B.E degree.

• Duration of Engagement: Up to 31.03.2026 or project completion, whichever is earlier.
• Note: Waiting list validity is one year from the date of result declaration.

General Instructions

• Candidates must bring the duly filled Annexure-I application form, a recent passport-size photograph, self-attested photocopies of required documents, and original certificates for verification on the interview day.
• Bring self-attested copies and originals of Matriculation, Higher Secondary, Graduation, and Post-Graduation certificates, along with any relevant degree certificates, caste certificates (ST/SC/OBC), work experience certificates, and valid photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card preferred).
• The selected candidate may need to travel for project-related work.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate. Engagement is temporary and co-terminus with the project, with no guaranteed absorption in ICAR-IIWM/ICAR.
• Candidates should be ready to join immediately if selected.
