Eligibility Details

Senior Scientist cum Head

• Doctoral degree in a relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years of experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in pay band-3 (₹15,600-₹39,100) with Grade Pay of ₹5,400/6,000/7,000/8,000, and a demonstrated record of research/teaching/extension education.

Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) - Soil Science

• Master’s degree in Soil Science or any other branch of science/social science relevant to agriculture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Desirable: Ph.D./NET in the relevant subject and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a KVK.
