Age

Relaxations

• 5 years for SC/ST/women candidates.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential: Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Science and Technology OR Master’s degree in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Seed Science and Technology with 4/5 years of bachelor’s degree with first division or 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA).

Experience and Publications

• At least three years of research experience evidenced by fellowship/associateship/training/other engagements as circulated vide F No 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25-04-2014.
• One research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated journal (≥4).

Project

• Dynamics of Agricultural Innovation in North India and South India funded by CGIAR, project period up to 31 March 2027.
