Age Details

• Young Professional-II posts: Less than 40 years as of the date of the advertisement. Age relaxation as per rules; the cut-off date will be the date of the walk-in interview.

Eligibility Details

Young Professional-II (Technical/Scientific) - General

• Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacy / Social Work / Sociology / BAMS / BSMS and MD in AYUSH with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university or institution.
• One year of post-qualification experience in the related field.

Young Professional-II (Technical/Scientific) - Statistics

• Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field from a recognized university or institution, with a minimum of 55% marks.

General eligibility for both posts

• The engagement is purely on a temporary contract basis in the Policy and Communication Division of ICMR.
• Candidates already in regular service under any Central/State Government/Autonomous Department/PSU are not eligible to apply.
• Original documents will be verified at the time of the walk-in interview.

Other Instructions

• The positions are temporary contractual in the Policy & Communications Division, ICMR HQ, New Delhi.
• Initial engagement is for one year, extendable for up to two more years (one year at a time), subject to requirement and performance, with a maximum duration of three years.
• No regular post claim in ICMR or its Institutes/Centres or any Government of India department.
• Provident Fund, Pension, Leave Travel Concession, Medical claims, Staff Quarters, and other regular staff facilities are not admissible.
• Wrong or false information may disqualify candidature at any stage.
• Canvassing or external influence will lead to disqualification.
• The DG, ICMR reserves the right to terminate the position or modify the process at any time.
