Eligibility

Educational Qualification & Apprenticeship Requirement

  • AICTE‑approved Polytechnic Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized Institute/University (minimum marks: 60% General & OBC; 55% SC/ST).
  • OR B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from a UGC‑recognized Institute/University (minimum marks: 55% General & OBC; 50% SC/ST).
  • Both paths require completion or current completion of a one-year Apprenticeship under the Apprentices Act 1961 in Phosphatic Fertilizer / Heavy Chemical Industry / Petroleum Refinery / Petrochemical Industry by 30/04/2026.
  • Only regular full-time qualifications are eligible; Diploma/B.Sc. obtained via part-time, correspondence, or distance mode are not eligible.
  • Higher qualifications (B.E./B.Tech/MBA/MCA/CA/LLB or equivalent) are not eligible.
