Age Limits

• The age limits vary by post. The minimum age across all posts is 27 years and the maximum age across all posts is 56 years.

Educational Qualifications

• Professor-E: First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied Mathematics), Geology, Electronics or Computer Science, or a PhD in an appropriate discipline.
• Reader: First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied and Pure), Geology, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Fellow: First Class Master’s degree in Physics, Geophysics, Mathematics (Applied and Pure), Geology, Electronics or Computer Science.
• Assistant Director (OL): Master’s degree from a recognized university.
• Assistant: Graduate in Arts, Science or Commerce.
• Technical Assistant (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Stenographer Grade-II: 12th class pass or equivalent.
• Upper Division Clerk: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce.
• Lower Division Clerk: Matriculation or equivalent qualification.

Important Instructions
