Eligibility by Post

Professor (Academic Level 14A)

• Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with 10 years of experience, of which 4 years should be as Associate Professor
• Educational Requirements: First Class (Minimum 60%) in Master’s Degree with consistently good academic record
• Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/DAP and 3% for OBC in Master’s degree
• Publications: Minimum eight ABDC-B/ABS-3 or equivalent combinations with ABDC-A/ABS-4, indexed in WOS or Scopus

Associate Professor (Academic Level 13A2)

• Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with six years of post-Ph.D. experience (3 years as Assistant Professor)
• Educational Requirements: First Class (Minimum 60%) in Master’s Degree
• Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and 3% relaxation for OBC
• Publications: Minimum five ABDC-B/ABS-3 or two ABDC-A/ABS-4 publications, indexed in WOS or Scopus

Assistant Professor (Academic Level 13A1)

• Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with five years of post-Ph.D. experience (3 years as Assistant Professor)
• Educational Requirements: First Class (Minimum 60%) in Master’s Degree
• Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/DAP and 3% relaxation for OBC
• Publications: Minimum four ABDC-B/ABS-3 or two ABDC-A/ABS-4 publications, indexed in WOS or Scopus

Assistant Professor, Grade I (Academic Level 12)

• Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with three years of post-Ph.D. experience
• Educational Requirements: First Class (Minimum 60%) in Master’s Degree and in Class XII and Class X
• Relaxation: 5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and 3% relaxation for OBC
• Publications: Minimum three ABDC-B/ABS-3 publications, indexed in WOS or Scopus

Assistant Professor, Grade II (Academic Level 11 & 10)

• Essential Qualifications: Ph.D. with 1+ year post-Ph.D. experience (for Grade II, Level 11); fresh Ph.D. for Level 10 with viva voce possible
• Educational Requirements: First Class (Minimum 60%) in Master’s, Graduation, Class XII, and Class X
• Relaxation: 5% for SC/ST/PWD and 3% for OBC
• Publications: 2 ABDC-B/ABS-3 or 1 ABDC-A/ABS-4 (Level 11); 1 ABDC-B/ABS-3 (Level 10), with higher counts preferred

Professor/Associate Professor of Practice (Academic Level 14A/13A2)

• Essential Experience: Substantial industry or government experience (minimum 20 years)
• Qualifications: Ph.D. desirable but not essential; strong domain knowledge acceptable
• Other: Emphasis on teaching Leadership Development Programs and practical impact
