Age limits

Age limits vary by post and category, generally ranging from 30 to 50 years. Age relaxations apply as per government norms: SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, PWD/Women/Departmental candidates may have no upper age limit depending on the post.

Eligibility per post

• Finance & Accounts Officer: CA/ICWA + 8 years (minimum 5 years at Level-10) OR MBA/PGDM Finance + 10 years (minimum 5 years at Level-10)
• Systems Manager: M.Tech/M.E (CS/IT) or MCA + 15 years (minimum 5 years at Level-10)
• Assistant Administrative Officer: Any Graduation + 5 years at Level-6 or 10 years combined Level-4/5/6
• Senior Library and Information Assistant: Master’s in Library Science + 3 years at Level-6
• Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma + 8 years (Level-5 or 4+5) OR Degree + 3 years (Level-5 or 4+5)
• Junior Engineer (Electrical): Diploma + 8 years (Level-5 or 4+5) OR Degree + 3 years (Level-5 or 4+5)
• Assistant: Graduation + 6 years Level-5 or 8 years combined Level-4+5
• Accountant: B.Com/BBA/Inter CA/ICWA + 6 years Level-5 or 8 years combined Level-4+5
• Junior Assistant: Graduation + 5 years Level-3 or 8 years Level-2
• Junior Technical Assistant - IT: Diploma (5 yrs) / BCA (3 yrs) / B.Tech/MCA (2 yrs) in Level-3
• Junior Executive: Graduation + 2 years Level-2 or 4 years combined Level-1+2
