Age Limit

• Not more than 35 years as on 10-12-2025
• Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification and/or experience may be considered with prior approval of competent authority

Essential Qualification

• Master’s in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics or related areas

Desirable / Preferred:

• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, SQL
• Experience in data analysis and familiarity with structural bioinformatics tools
• Familiar with Linux Operating System
• Demonstrated expertise in computational biology via published articles and/or a GitHub repository of software developed

• Appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically without any notice or compensation on termination of the project.
• The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment/absorption in the Funding Agency or IISER Pune.
• No interim enquiries/correspondence/communication will be entertained.
• Bringing any influence, political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification.

• Venue: Seminar Room 34, Main Building, IISER Pune, Dr. Homi Bhabha Road, Pune 411008.
• Candidates must bring: a duly filled prescribed application form, all original documents plus one set of self-attested photocopies (Date of Birth, Educational qualifications from 10th onwards, Experience certificates, Photo ID proof), and one recent passport-size color photograph.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
