Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry (with specialization in Peptides) or Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
• Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible.

• Age relaxation may be considered based on qualification and experience with approval of the competent authority.

How to Apply

• Attend the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.
• Bring the duly filled prescribed application form along with original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies of:
  • Date of birth certificate
  • Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
  • Experience certificates (if applicable)
  • Government-issued photo identity proof
• Bring one recent passport-size color photograph.

Salary and tenure

• Rs. 58,000 + 30% HRA per month (or Rs. 42,000 + 30% HRA if the candidate has submitted their thesis and will be designated Senior Research Fellow).
• Initial appointment period is 6 months, extendable based on performance and project continuation.

Conduct and eligibility notes

• The position is temporary and will terminate automatically on completion of the project.
• No claim for permanent appointment or absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency.
• Educational qualifications must be from recognized universities or institutions.
• The number of posts may vary with requirements during the selection process.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
• Bringing any influence or political involvement will be treated as disqualification.
