IIT Delhi Research Associate Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in

Eligibility

• Qualification: Ph.D. with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering.
• Essential Experience: Hands-on work in THz spectroscopy and imaging/Ultrafast optics (to be judged from papers and PhD thesis work) and excellent English communication skills. Familiarity with LABVIEW/Python for data acquisition and remote control of instruments is required.
• Desirable: CAD Modeling and 3D Printing experience.

• Walk-In Test / Date of Interview: 02 February 2026 (02-02-2026)
• Interview/reporting time: Report by 03:20 PM; interview to start around 3:30 PM

How to Apply

• Indian nationals invited to appear for the Walk-in test/interview.
• Appointment shall be on a contractual basis for the duration of the project, renewable yearly or until the project duration ends.
• Bring Form No. IRD/REC-4 (downloadable from the IRD website) along with complete educational qualification details, work experience, and a recent passport-size photograph, plus original certificates for verification.
• Candidates already employed elsewhere should have their application duly forwarded by their present employer. A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates. In case of retirement/superannuation of a government employee, salary will be fixed as per IRD norms.

• Venue: Physics Department Library, MS-415, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110 016.
• Report by 03:20 PM on 02 February 2026.
