Eligibility Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Polymer Sciences, or related fields from a recognized university or institution.
• Strong foundation in organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or materials science.

Desirable Experience and Skills

• Expertise in polymer hydrogel development with published research.
• Experience in polymer composites and biopolymer-synthetic polymer composites.
• Proficiency with high-end instrumentation (NMR, GC-MS, FTIR, SEM, AFM, TGA, DSC, etc.) for characterization.
• Experience in developing chemical or polymeric sensors for environmental analytes, including rare earth elements.
• Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals.
• Excellent written communication and ability to draft research manuscripts and grant proposals.
• Ability to mentor research scholars at the Ph.D. level.
