IIT (ISM) Dhanbad Non-Teaching Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Junior Assistant, Junior Technician, Assistant Systems Engineer, and Junior Technical Superintendent Posts

Age Details

• Junior Assistant (Hospitality) and Junior Technician (Civil/Electrical Maintenance): Maximum 30 years
• Assistant Systems Engineer (both streams): Maximum 40 years
• Junior Technical Superintendent (all streams): Maximum 35 years Age relaxations are as per Government norms and institute policies (SC/ST/OBC-NCL, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, etc.). The closing date is the cut-off for age calculations.

Educational Qualifications by Post

Junior Assistant & Junior Technician

• Junior Assistant (Hospitality): Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with 55% marks, or a 3-year Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology with 55% marks and 2 years of experience. Desirable: experience in a residential educational institution.
• Junior Technician (Civil Maintenance): Diploma (minimum 55%) in Civil Engineering (3 years) with 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of computer office applications. Desirable: experience in maintaining civil infrastructure of a large residential campus or reputable institution.
• Junior Technician (Electrical Maintenance): Diploma (minimum 55%) in Electrical Engineering (3 years) with 5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of computer office applications. Desirable: experience in maintaining electrical infrastructure.

Assistant Systems Engineer

• Network Administration: 1st Class B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc in CS/ECE/IT/Software Science/EE/EEE/MCA or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience in Pay Level-7, or 1st Class M.E./M.Tech in the same disciplines with 4 years’ experience in Pay Level-7.
• HPC & Cloud Management: 1st Class B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc in CS/ECE/IT/Software Science/EE/EEE/MCA or equivalent with 6 years relevant experience in Pay Level-7, or 1st Class M.E./M.Tech in the same disciplines with 4 years’ experience in Pay Level-7.

Junior Technical Superintendent (Selected Streams)

• Various streams require a three-year Diploma or B.Sc. in the relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks and 4 years of relevant experience in Pay Level-5 or equivalent, as detailed per stream (Network & Systems, Chemistry, Electrical, Civil, Architect, Mechanical, Physics, Electronics, Computer, Chemical). For all streams, MS-Office and related software experience is preferred.

• Junior Technical Superintendent: ₹500 Note: Fees are payable via the SBI Collect link on the Institute website. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates are exempted from payment of recruitment fee.

3. Fill the online application form carefully; changes are not permitted after submission.
