Eligibility Details

Professor

• Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent in the preceding degrees, and a consistently good academic record. A minimum of ten years of teaching, research, or industrial experience, including at least four years at the level of Associate Professor in IITs or equivalent institutions. Demonstrated leadership in research and a strong record of publications, patents, and project leadership.

Associate Professor

• Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent in the preceding degrees, and a consistently good academic record. A minimum of six years of teaching, industry, or research experience, with at least three years at the level of Assistant Professor in an academic institution. Demonstrated independent research capability and publications.

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent in the preceding degrees, and a consistently good academic record. Minimum three years of relevant industrial, research, or teaching experience (excluding Ph.D. experience). Demonstrated research capabilities through publications.

Assistant Professor Grade II

• Ph.D. in a relevant area with first class or equivalent in the preceding degrees, and a consistently good academic record. Applicants meeting all criteria for Assistant Professor Grade I, except post-Ph.D. experience, may be appointed as Assistant Professor Grade II with appropriate pay based on post-doctoral experience.
