Eligibility by Post

Public Relations Officer (Level 10)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism or an equivalent degree with 60% marks and above, or equivalent grade B in UGC seven-point scale, OR Master’s degree in any discipline with 60% marks and above with a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communications.
• Essential Experience: At least five years in a senior PR role in a newspaper, periodical, national news agency, radio/television, film media, or as a PR Officer in a recognized university.
• Desirable: Computer proficiency, multilingual ability, 60% marks in all qualifications, two years’ experience in writing reports/press releases, social media handling.

Assistant Registrar (Level 10)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree or equivalent with 60% marks, and/or UGC Grade B; consistently good academic record.
• Essential Experience: At least 5 years of relevant administrative experience in supervisory roles.
• Desirable: Presence of additional qualifications in Law/Management/Engineering, Chartered or Cost Accountant qualification, SAS, and proficiency in office automation.

Sports Officer (Level 10)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree with 60% marks in Physical Education/Sports Science with 5 years of relevant experience OR B.P.Ed with 60% marks and 7 years of relevant experience.
• Essential: Specialization in at least one sport.
• Desirable: 60% marks in all boards/university examinations.

Fire and Safety Officer (Level 8)

• Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Essential Certification: Diploma/certification in Fire and Safety Management or related field.
• Essential Experience: 5 years as supervisor or safety professional in relevant settings.
• Desirable: PG degree/Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety; valid LMV driving license.

Senior Laboratory Officer (Level 8)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s in Engineering/Science (60% marks) with 5 years’ relevant experience in Pay Matrix Level 6, or relevant alternative qualifications as detailed in the notification.
• Desirable: Proficiency in latest office automation tools.

Laboratory Officer (Level 6)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s in Engineering/Science (60%) with 3 years’ relevant experience in Pay Matrix Level 4, or equivalent combinations.
• Desirable: Proficiency in latest office automation tools.

Junior Section Officer (Level 6)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree with 60% marks and 3 years’ admin/accounts/audit/purchase experience as Senior Assistant (or equivalent), or Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and 5 years’ admin/accounts/audit/purchase experience as Senior Assistant (or equivalent).
• Desirable: 60% marks in all boards/university examinations; HR/Finance related higher qualifications are a plus.

Assistant Sports Officer (Level 6)

• Essential Qualifications: B.P.Ed with 60% marks and 3 years’ relevant experience; representational experience at state/national level.
• Desirable: 60% marks in all boards/university examinations; coaching certifications and related awards.

Laboratory Assistant (Level 5)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science with 60% marks and 1-2 years’ relevant experience depending on qualification; or three-year diploma in engineering with 60% marks.
• Desirable: Proficiency in latest office software and related tools.

Senior Assistant (Level 5)

• Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree with 60% marks and 1 year of relevant administration/accounts/purchase experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks and 3 years’ related experience.
• Desirable: 60% marks throughout education; proficiency in modern office automation tools.
