Overview

To appear for JEE Advanced 2026, candidates must have qualified JEE Main 2026 and be among the top 2,50,000 rank holders (inclusive of all categories).

Key Requirements

• Performance in JEE Main: Rank among top 2,50,000 candidates (category-wise) in JEE Main 2026
• Age Limit: Born on or after October 1, 2001 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/PwD)
• Number of Attempts: Maximum 2 attempts in two consecutive years
• Class 12 Appearance: First appeared in Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026
• Subjects in Class 12: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics compulsory
• Earlier IIT Admission: Not previously admitted to any IIT programme (with specific exceptions)

How to Apply

1. Visit the official JEE Advanced website.
2. Register using your JEE Main 2026 roll number, password, and security PIN.
3. Fill in personal details, contact information, and address.
4. Choose up to eight preferred exam cities.
5. Upload scanned passport-size photograph and signature.
6. Review details, pay the application fee, and submit.
