Age Details

• Group A (Pay Level 10 and above): up to 45 years
• Group B (Pay Level 6): up to 35 years
• Group C (Pay Level 3): up to 30 years
• Age relaxations as per Government of India guidelines (SC/ST +5, OBC +3, PwD +10, Ex-Servicemen +3 + service period)
• Regular IIT Kanpur employees: up to 50 years for Group B & C, up to 55 years for Group A

Eligibility Details by Post ( summarized )

• Superintending Engineer (Civil): M.Sc. in Civil Engg. (min. 55%) with 13 years relevant experience OR First-class B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engg. with 15 years relevant experience.
• Deputy Registrar: Master’s Degree (min. 55% or Grade B) + 5 years administrative experience or 9 years as Assistant Professor with related experience.
• Executive Engineer (Civil): M.Sc. in Civil Engg. (min. 55%) + 8 years relevant experience OR First-class B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engg. + 10 years relevant experience.
• Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical): First-class B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years relevant experience.
• Assistant Registrar: Master’s Degree (min. 55%) with 5-8 years relevant supervisory/admin experience.
• Assistant Counsellor: MPhil in Clinical Psychology (RCI) with 2 years relevant experience OR MA/M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology / Psychology with first class and 5 years relevant experience.
• Hall Management Officer: Master’s Degree in Hotel Management or allied field with 5 years relevant experience.
• Medical Officer: MBBS with valid registration and 3 years hospital experience.
• Junior Superintendent - Institute/Legal/Accounts: Various qualifications including Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience as specified.
• Junior Technical Superintendent (ACMS, XRF-IRMS, Computer Centre, Materials Engg): Bachelor’s or Master’s/ Diploma with relevant experience as specified.
• Junior Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree with knowledge of computer applications.
• Junior Technician: Bachelor’s / Diploma in relevant discipline as specified.

Additional Instructions

• Only Indian nationals are eligible. All qualifications must be from a recognized university/institution. Post-qualification, full-time work experience will be considered.
