Educational Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or a related discipline.
• OR MSc/MTech/ME in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biophysics, or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant research experience (post MSc/MTech/ME) and at least one SCI-indexed publication.

Desirable Experience

• Strong background in molecular biology and synthetic biology, including gene cloning, plasmid construction, and promoter or regulatory sequence design.
• Hands-on experience with bacterial or mammalian cell culture, transformation, and reporter-based characterization (e.g., fluorescence or luminescence assays).
• Familiarity with qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, and microscopy techniques for gene expression analysis.
• Experience in DNA/RNA isolation, sequencing, mutagenesis, and plasmid copy-number determination.
• Working knowledge of biochemical assay development and data analysis using standard laboratory tools.
