Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules. A small relaxation in the age limit may be considered for suitably qualified and experienced applicants, upon the recommendation of the Selection Committee.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should have an M.Tech in Food Process Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Biotechnology, or any other related disciplines. Alternatively, an M.Sc in Food Microbiology, Microbiology, or closely related disciplines with a valid NET/GATE score is accepted.

Selection will be through a process described by any of the following: a. Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC, NET, including lectureship/Assistant Professorship, and GATE). b. Selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.

Relevant Experience

Hand-on experience in fermentation technology for food and beverages, microbiological, and other food-related chemical analysis is required.
