IIT Mandi Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 - Online Application

Age Limit

• Not more than 30 years. Age will be calculated based on the last date of application. Relaxation as per Government norms may apply for SC/ST candidates; in case of selection of a retired/superannuated employee, salary will be as per prevailing Government rules.

Educational Qualifications

• B.Tech./B.E. (Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering).
• M.Tech./M.E. (Power Electronics and Drives / Power Electronics / Control Systems Engineering / Power System Engineering / Electrical Machines).
• Academic requirement: 60% or 6.0 CGPA throughout.
• Additional requirement: GATE qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.

Additional Eligibility

• The position is offered on a temporary basis with a consolidated salary and possible renewal based on project duration and performance.

General Information

• Project title: “Ultra High Efficient Compact Power Converters for Radio Frequency (RF) Communication System” funded by BRNS, DAE, Government of India.
• Initial appointment: 12 months or till project end, with possible renewal.
