Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D. in Physics or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA during Ph.D. coursework, and above 6.5 CGPA during M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech coursework. Relaxations may apply as specified.
• Prior demonstrated experience in experimental optics and/or experimental atomic and molecular physics.
• Experience with laser spectroscopy, laser cooling, ion trapping, or atom trapping and related areas.
• At least two original research papers in SCI and/or peer‑reviewed journals; preference for candidates with more publications.
• Ability to supervise Ph.D./Masters students and postdoctoral candidates at RA I/RA II level.
• Proficiency in multiple related areas, such as Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics; Electronics; Quantum Mechanics; Quantum Optics; Electromagnetic Theory; Atomic and laser spectroscopy; and computational tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, Python, MATLAB).

Work Nature
