Age Details

The age limits are as follows (as of 27-11-2025):

• Project Scientist-II: up to 40 years
• Project Associate-II: up to 35 years
• Laboratory Technician: up to 50 years Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Eligibility Details

Project Scientist-II

• Doctoral degree in the sciences or a Master’s degree in engineering or technology from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate marks (relaxation as per GOI guidelines).
• Three years of experience in research and development in industrial or academic institutions, and in scientific activities and services.

Project Associate-II

• Master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or medicine from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 55% aggregate marks (relaxation as per GOI guidelines).
• 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial or academic institutions, or in sciences and technology organizations.

Project Associate-II (Alternate eligibility)

• Master’s degree in natural or agricultural sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology or medicine from a recognized university or equivalent with at least 55% aggregate marks (relaxation as per GOI guidelines).
• 2 years of experience in research and development in industrial or academic institutions, or in sciences and technology organizations.

Laboratory Technician

• B.Sc. or 3-year diploma in engineering and technology.
