Age Limit

• Preferably below 62 years.

Educational Qualifications

• Faculty: Master (Foreign Going) Certificate of Competency issued by the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India. Sailing experience for a minimum period of six months at the Management level within the meaning of the STCW Convention, as amended. VICT / TOTA Course Certificate or willingness to complete the course.
• Hostel Warden: Ex-Navy / Coast Guard / Army / Air Force/Equivalent training or teaching establishments. Minimum 15 years of Government Service (preferably served 15 years in Navy/ Army / Air Force / Coast Guard).

Mode of Selection

Selection will be based on an interview and a demo lecture. No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview. Candidates will be intimated of the interview date via e-mail.
