Eligibility Details

Qualification

MBBS degree from any recognized university in the Allopathic system of medicine recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience in any hospital or as a Medical Practitioner.

General Instructions

• Empanelment/Contract is for three years with semi-annual performance reviews. The term may be extended upon mutual agreement.
• The Bank reserves the right to review remuneration and modify duties, hours, and location at its discretion.
• Applications must be sent in a sealed cover marked: “Application for the post of Authorised Doctor on contract basis”.
• Use the prescribed format (Annex-III) with Annex-IV checklist.
• Medical Consultant duties include minimum ten working hours per week at fixed timings, across Bank premises (minimum 2 hours per day).
• Emergency services, house visits, medical certificates, CSR/medical camps participation, and other assigned tasks may be required.
• There is no employer-employee relationship; this is a contract engagement.
• The Bank may terminate or modify the contract with one month’s notice. Jurisdiction for disputes is Chennai.
• The Medical Consultant is responsible for medical negligence and must indemnify the Bank.
• Adherence to the Code of Conduct is mandatory (secrecy, no gifts, no intoxication, no harassment, etc.).
