Age Details

• The applicable age range for this post is 18-30 years. Age is calculated as of the last date of receipt of applications (11 August 2026). Government servant and Ex-Serviceman relaxations up to 40 years may apply as per Central Government rules.

Educational Qualification

• Essential: Matriculation pass (or equivalent) from a recognized Board, along with a Certificate of Competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable: Two years of service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse Power.

How to Apply

1. Fill the application form in English or Hindi as per Annexure-I.
2. Affix a self-attested colour photograph on the form.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents (originals must not be sent).
4. Enclose a blank self-addressed envelope with Rs. 50 postal stamp.
5. Superscribe the envelope with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ENGINE DRIVER" and the category applied for (EWS).
6. Send the complete application by ordinary post to: The Commander, Coast Guard Region (A&N), Post Box No. 716, Haddo (PO), Sri Vijaya Puram - 744102, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
7. Ensure the application reaches within 45 days from the date of publication in Employment News (last date 11 August 2026).
