Age Limits

• Age limits vary by branch as of 01-01-2027. The youngest eligible candidates are born around 2007 (approx. 20 years old), and the oldest around 2002 (approx. 25 years old).

Eligibility Details

Executive Branch (GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre)

• BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

Pilot

• BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
• 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% in English in Class X or XII.

Naval Air Operations Officer (Observers)

• BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
• 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% in English in Class X or XII.

Air Traffic Controller (ATC)

• BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
• 60% aggregate marks in Class X and XII and minimum 60% in English in Class X or XII.

Logistics

• BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with First Class, or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Sc.(H) with First Class along with PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management, or MCA/ M.Sc.(H) with First Class.

Education

• MSc/MA with minimum 60% marks in Maths/ Operational Research (with Physics in BSc) or Physics/ Applied Physics with Maths in BSc, or Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths in BSc), or BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Mechanical/ Production Engineering, or BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech with 60% in Computer Science Engineering/ MCA (with Physics or Mathematics at graduation), or BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/ Electronics and Instrumentation or ME/ M.Tech with 60% in Electronics & Communication/ Controls/ Radar and Microwave/ Optical Fibre/ Digital Signal Processing/ Wireless Communication/ Laser and Electro Optics/ VLSI/ Power Systems/ Communications Systems/ Electronics & Instrumentation or ME/ M.Tech with 60% in Thermal/ Production Engineering/ Machine Design/ System and Controls/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths at graduation). Engineering Branch (General Service (GS))

• BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Marine Engineering, Aero Space Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automobiles Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering.

Submarine Tech Engineering

• BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Production Engineering, Control Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Instrumentation & Control, Mechanical/Mechanical with Automation.

Electrical Branch (GS)

• BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Power Electronics, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication, Power Engineering.

Submarine Tech Electrical

• BE/ B.Tech with 60% in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Tele Communication, Applied Electronics and Communication (AEC).

General Information and Instructions

• Vacancies are tentative and may change based on training slot availability.
• Only one online application per candidate is allowed.
• Candidates applying for GS(X) may volunteer for submarine specialization based on medical fitness and vacancies.
• Submarine and other specialisations are subject to medical clearances and service requirements.
• Short Service Commission is granted for 12 years initially, extendable by up to 2 years.
• Selected officers will be inducted as Sub Lieutenant after induction medical examination at INA, Ezhimala.
• Only unmarried candidates are eligible for training; married candidates will be discharged.
• Candidates must ensure their educational qualifications are met before joining.
• All candidates must undergo SSB interviews, with medical and selection processes conducted as per Navy guidelines.
• Narcotics testing may be conducted at various stages of selection and service.
