Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: 45 years (for General category)
• Age relaxation: Upper age limit relaxable by up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC, Persons with Disabilities, widows, divorcees, and ex-servicemen as per Himachal Pradesh government norms.

Eligibility Details

• Posts and qualifications:
  • Rehabilitation Psychologist / Clinical Psychologist: M.Phil. (Rehabilitation Psychology/Clinical Psychology) with registration or eligibility as required by the relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Mobility Instructor: Diploma/Certificate in Mobility; desirable qualifications include Bachelor in Mobility Science or D.Ed./B.Ed. Spl. Ed. in Visual Impairment.
  • Medical Officer: MBBS with registration (as applicable).
  • Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing with registration (as applicable).
• General requirement: Candidates must be from a recognized institution/body. Registration with RCI (for psychologists/instructors) or NMC/HP Medical/Nursing Council (for medical staff) is mandatory or preferred.
• Experience: Experience will be considered during selection; 1 mark for each complete year of government/semi-government payroll experience.
• Desirable: Specific posts may prefer female candidates or specialized qualifications as noted in the eligibility section.

General Information / Instructions

• Posts are unreserved (UR).
• Appointments are temporary on a yearly contractual basis and do not confer rights to permanent absorption.
• Services are co-terminus with government grant-in-aid; only honorarium is paid with no extra allowances.
• Contract may be terminated without notice for non-performance or misconduct.
• No TA/DA for screening test or interview.
