Age Limit

• General: 18-26 years (as on 01 Aug 2026) with relaxation for defence service plus 3 years (max 45 years).
• SC/ST: up to 31 years (+ Defence service relaxation, max 45).
• OBC: up to 29 years (+ Defence service relaxation, max 45).
• Agniveer: up to 21 years (+ Defence service experience + 3 years).
• Maximum age limit of 45 years applies uniformly for Ex-Servicemen across categories.

Educational Qualification

• Pass in 10th standard or its equivalent. Note: Graduation or equivalent examination must not have been passed.

Other Eligibility Criteria

• Ex-Servicemen/Ex-Agniveers only (excluding Disabled Ex-Servicemen).
• Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Tamil.
• Medical standards: SHAPE-1 or AYE as applicable.
• Nationality: Indian citizen (with specified exceptions for certain categories).

Important Note

• Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Disabled Ex-Servicemen are not eligible to apply.
