Age Details

• UR: 28 years
• OBC: 31 years
• SC/ST: 33 years
• PWBD: UR 38 years, OBC 41 years, SC/ST 43 years

Eligibility Details

Graduate Apprentice (General Stream)

• Bachelor’s Degree (three-year duration) from a recognised University with not less than 60% marks (CGPA 6.32).

Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Commercial Practice)

• First Class Diploma in Commercial Practice (three years duration) from a State Board of Technical Education.

• Candidates who have acquired Degree/Diploma before April 2021, those appearing for final year exams, or results awaiting candidates are not eligible.

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973, or having one year or more experience as Apprentice are not eligible.

• Candidates who have completed five years from the month and year of passing as specified in the Degree/Diploma certificate, or who cross five years after acquiring the qualification while empanelled/waitlisted for engagement, will not be considered for Apprenticeship.

• Priority will be given to candidates qualified from recognised Universities/State Board of Technical Education under the Southern Region of BoAT (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry).

General Instructions

• Only Indian nationals may apply.
• Selected apprentices will be registered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and its amendments; a contract will be executed in the NATS 2.0 portal immediately after induction.
• Completion of one year of Apprenticeship at VSSC or its Units does not guarantee permanent employment.
• Canteen and transport facilities are admissible; candidates must arrange accommodation themselves.
• Canvassing in any form will justify disqualification.
• If a University mentions CGPA or percentage, at least one criterion must meet eligibility norms; CGPA conversions are not permitted unless required by the university.
• The number of vacancies may change.
