Age Details

• Open Merit: 18-28 years (not born before 01-01-1997 and not born after 01-01-2007).
• In-Service Police Personnel: 18-30 years (not born before 01-01-1995).
• SPOs and Volunteer Home Guards: 18-40 years (not born before 01-01-1985).
• All Categories: Not born after 01-01-2007.

Educational Qualification

• Matriculation from a recognized Board.

Domicile

• Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir with a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.

Nationality

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.

Age Limits

• Open Merit ( OM ): 18 to 28 years.
• In-Service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 years.
• SPOs and Volunteer Home Guards (VHGs): 18 to 40 years.
• Ex-Servicemen: age relaxation as per rules (service period deductible).

Physical Standards

• Males: Height 5'6" (min), Chest 32" (unexpanded), 33½" (expanded).
• Females: Height 5'2" (min).

Other

• Age relaxations and category-wise reservations apply as per rules.

General Instructions

• Apply online only through the official website.
• Ensure all documents are valid on or before the last date of submission.
• No offline or postal applications will be accepted.
• Two recent passport-size photographs and valid photo ID proofs are required at examination.
• Keep a record of the Application Number after submission.
• Horizontal reservations include 15% for women, 15% for SPOs, and 4% for VHGs. Ex-Servicemen eligibility is subject to service period deduction rules.
• The Board’s decision on all matters shall be final and binding.
