Age limits

• For most direct recruitment posts, the general upper age limit is 40 years.
• Deputation/tenure posts (e.g., Senior/Deputy roles) may have an upper age limit up to 56 years.
• Central Government relaxations as applicable. Regular JMI employees with 3+ years of service have no upper age limit at the time of closing.

Eligibility per post

• Educational qualifications range from 10th/12th with trade certificates to Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Engineering degrees/diplomas, and relevant experience depending on the post.
• Knowledge of Hindi and Urdu is desirable for all non-teaching posts, along with computer proficiency where required.

Note: The minimum educational qualification required across the posts starts at 10th/12th standard, with higher qualifications for specific roles such as Engineers, Auditors, and Officers.

Application Fee (non-refundable)

Group A Positions (Pay Level 10 and above)

• UR/OBC: Rs. 1000
• SC/ST: Rs. 500
• PwBD (Divyangjan): NIL

Group B & C Positions (Pay Level 7 and below)

• UR/OBC: Rs. 700

• SC/ST: Rs. 350

• PwBD (Divyangjan): NIL

• Fees must be paid online or via UPI (jmirps@indianbk) and proof of payment must be enclosed with the application form.

Important Instructions

• Applications may be accepted provisionally; eligibility will be scrutinized later and candidature can be cancelled if information is found false or tampered.
• No TA/DA will be paid for any stage of the selection process.
• Send the completed application form to the Recruitment & Promotion Section, 2nd Floor, Registrar’s Office, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi - 110025 by 26-12-2025 (working days, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM).
• Ensure proof of payment is enclosed with the application form; SC/ST and Divyangjan categories have applicable fee concessions.
• Candidates already in service must apply through proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate during document verification/interview.
