Age Limit

The upper age limit is 50 years as of 26 December 2025. Age relaxation up to 5 years is available for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Persons with Disabilities, and OBC as per Government of India rules.

Essential Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry/Applied Chemistry

Experience

• Candidates should have experience in the relevant area of the research project
• Experience in handling high-end research instruments
• Experienced and qualified candidates will be preferred

General Information / Instructions

• Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up two posts of Project Assistant under a Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India sponsored research project titled "Biomass nanocomposites with reduced volatile matter as the substitution of conventional coal for cofiring operation in thermal power plants".
• The position is contractual and initially for 1 year, with possible extension based on performance.
