Age limits

• Minimum: 21 years
• Maximum: 50 years (for PwBD, SC/ST, BC/EBC, and other categories as applicable per Jharkhand government rules). The listed limits are effective as of the referenced notification.

Educational Qualifications

• A degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Medicine with a specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law.

Experience

• Not specified as mandatory for all applicants, but certain categories require experience in inspection or manufacturing/testing of Schedule C substances as per the rules.

Desirable

• As per Drug & Cosmetics Rules 1945, Rule 49 specifications.

• Post Type: Permanent with 2 years probation
• Department: State Drug Control Directorate, Namkum, Ranchi under Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand
• Reservation: Local resident certificate required for reservation benefits; Caste/income certificates as specified for Jharkhand state.
• NOC: Government servants must indicate NOC status; original NOC to be submitted at verification if not available.
• Pre-examination training: syllabus available on the Commission’s website.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• The Commission reserves the right to postpone or cancel the process without assigning reason.
