JSSC JTAACCE-2026 Para Teacher Recruitment: 7299 Vacancies (Regular + Backlog)

Age Limit (as on 01-08-2026)

• All candidates: minimum 21 years; no universal maximum was specified for all posts.
• Unreserved (UR) & EWS: up to 35 years
• EBC-I & BC-II (Male): up to 37 years
• Women (UR, EWS, EBC-I, BC-II): up to 38 years
• SC/ST (Male & Female): up to 40 years
• PwD candidates: additional 10 years relaxation
• Ex-servicemen: additional 5 years relaxation
• Existing Para Teachers with two years of continuous service: age relaxation up to 58 years (as applicable)

Educational Qualifications (Applicable to Both Advertisements)

• Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1-5): 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), or higher secondary with 45% and 2-year Diploma (2007-2009 NCTE norms), or 10+2 with 50% and 4-year B.El.Ed, or 10+2 with 50% and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); OR Graduation with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education and JTET passage for Class 1-5.
• Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher - Math & Science (Class 6-8): Graduation in Science/Engineering/Technology/Agriculture/Mathematics (UGC 2014 spec) with 10+2 or higher secondary with two relevant subjects, plus B.Ed/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
• Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher - Social Science (Class 6-8): Graduation in Arts/Humanities/Social Science/Commerce/Management with B.Ed/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
• Graduate Trained Assistant Teacher - Language (Class 6-8): Graduation in a listed language (e.g., Hindi, English, Urdu, Santali, Bangla, Mundari, etc.) with B.Ed/equivalent and JTET (Class 6-8) pass.
• For Class 6-8 posts, eligibility also includes: Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed, or Graduation with B.Ed (subject to notification rules), or 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Edu or BA.Ed/BSc.Ed; relaxation up to 5% for SC/ST/EBC-I/BC-II/PwD and 7% for PVTG.
• JTET/CTET or equivalent TET is required for relevant class levels.

Candidates with completed graduation, B.Ed, D.El.Ed, or teacher training qualifications may be eligible for other teaching opportunities as well.

Application Fee

• General/Other candidates: ₹100
• SC/ST candidates of Jharkhand State: ₹50
• The fee is non-refundable.
• Candidates applying for both advertisements can pay a single exam fee; if applying to only one advertisement, pay the applicable fee for that advertisement.

Other Instructions

• Only one exam fee is payable if applying for both advertisements as there will be a common examination.
• A single application form covers both advertisements if the candidate opts for both vacancies.
• The exam will be conducted in OMR/CBT mode with objective questions and no negative marking.
• Keep the exact name, date of birth, and other details as per the matriculation certificate to avoid discrepancies during document verification.
