Educational Qualifications

• First Division Assistant (FDA) – Court Clerk / Revenue Inspector: Any Degree from a recognized University.
• Second Division Assistant (SDA): PUC / 10+2 (CBSE / ICSE / State) OR 3-year Diploma OR 2-year ITI OR 2-year Vocational Diploma.
• KSDL – Junior Officer (Marketing) – Group-C: Any Degree with PG Diploma in Marketing OR MBA in Marketing.
• KSDL – Sales Representative (Marketing) – Group-C: Any Degree.
• KSDL – Operator (Semi-Skilled) – Group-D: SSLC with ITI / NATS pass in relevant trade.
• RGUHS – Junior Programmer – Group-B: B.E. in Electronics / Computer Science OR MCA.
• RGUHS – Assistant – Group-C: Any Degree.
• RGUHS – Junior Assistant – Group-C: PUC / 10+2 OR Equivalent.
• KKRTC – Assistant Accountant: B.Com / Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Computer Knowledge.
• KKRTC – Conductor (Nirvahaka): PUC / 10+2 with Valid Conductor License & Badge, and Physical Standards (160 cm for Male / Third Gender, 150 cm for Female / Third Gender).
• DTE – First Division Assistant: Any Degree from a recognized University.
• DTE – Second Division Assistant: PUC / 10+2 OR 3-year Diploma OR 2-year ITI OR 2-year Vocational Diploma.

Selection Process

The selection process involves a competitive examination followed by document verification.

Written Examination (Offline OMR)

• All posts will have a test covering General Studies, Kannada, English, Computer Knowledge, and Subject-specific papers (as per the post).
• The exam will be held at district centers across Karnataka.
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • 35% overall for most posts.
  • 30% for KKRTC Conductor posts.
• Negative Marking: ¼ mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

KKRTC Conductor – Special Rule

• Selection is based on 75% OMR exam marks and 25% qualifying exam marks.
• Candidates must meet physical standards (minimum height) and possess a valid Conductor License & Badge.

Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates must attend original document verification.
• Required documents include:
  • Educational certificates
  • Caste/reservation certificates (in prescribed format)
  • 371J Local Person certificate (for KK reservation)
  • Other relevant supporting documents

Final Selection

• A merit list will be prepared based on exam performance and reservation rules.
• Only candidates who qualify in the Kannada language test (if applicable) and meet all eligibility conditions will be considered.
• Appointment orders will be issued by the respective departments/organizations after KEA publishes the final selection list.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates must apply online only through the official KEA website, as offline or handwritten applications will not be accepted.

1. Visit the official KEA portal at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ and click on “Recruitment – Kalyana Karnataka Cadre 2025.”
2. Register or log in using a valid email ID and mobile number, then carefully fill out the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and reservation details.
3. Applicants must upload the required documents, including a recent passport-size photo in JPEG format (50 KB – 200 KB) and a signature in JPEG format (50 KB – 70 KB) made in black ink.
4. After completing the details, candidates should select the post(s) they wish to apply for. Multiple posts can be selected within the same form, though an additional fee will apply.
5. The application fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
6. Once the payment and form submission are completed, applicants should download and save the confirmation page, keeping both the Application Form and Fee Receipt safely for future reference until the recruitment process is completed.
