Eligibility Details

Educational Qualifications

• Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s level (M.F.Sc.) or Doctorate in Aquaculture/Fisheries Resource Management/Fish Processing Technology/Post-harvest Technology/Aquatic Animal Health Management/Aquatic Environment Management/Fisheries Extension/Fisheries Economics/Fisheries Engineering/Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology/Fish Biotechnology/Fish Genetics and Breeding, from a recognized university.
• NET qualification as per UGC/CSIR/ICAR regulations in the subject in which NET is conducted; candidates with Ph.D. (with course work as per UGC 2009) and at least two NAAS-rated publications may be exempted from NET. Ph.D. without course work will not be considered.
• Basic computer knowledge and a CCC certificate.
