• Master’s degree with 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or equivalent from an accredited foreign university.
• NET/SET or Ph.D. exemption as per UGC regulations.

• Bio-Chemistry: Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Bio-Informatics: PG degree with at least 55% marks in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Clinical Biochemistry.
• Bio-Technology: Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Centre of Central Asian Studies (Archaeology): Master’s degree with 55% marks in Culture & Archaeology/Archaeology or History with PG Diploma in Archaeology.
• Centre of Central Asian Studies (Economics): Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Centre of Central Asian Studies (Kashmir): Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Distance & Online Education (Home Science- Human Development): PG with at least 55% in Home Science with specialization in Human Development.
• Economics: Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Education: Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
• Food Science & Technology: Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject.
