Age Limits

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• General/Unreserved: up to 40 years.
• Category 2A/2B/3A/3B: up to 43 years.
• SC/ST/Category-1: up to 45 years. A one-time relaxation of 5 years has been granted to the upper age limit as per government orders.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess at least one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or AICTE-approved institution:

• A degree in Civil Engineering/Technology or any Engineering/Technology degree, or an AMIE qualification in Engineering/Technology;
• A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, or Agriculture (B.Sc.);
• A Diploma in any branch of Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved institution.

Other Eligibility

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Candidates must be mentally and physically fit for the duties of the post.
• The government prohibits specific cases of eligibility relating to marital status of certain groups unless explicitly exempted.

• Special Pay (PWD) candidates: ₹250
