Age Limits

• Minimum age: 18 years as on the last date for submitting applications
• Maximum age (General): 40 years
• Maximum age (Categories 2A/2B/3A/3B): 43 years
• Maximum age (SC/ST/Category-1): 45 years

A one-time 5-year relaxation in the maximum age limit applies as per government order dated 29-01-2026, subject to the above ceilings. Further relaxations apply for certain categories and incumbents as described in the notification.

Typist

• Pass in 2nd PUC or an equivalent qualification (including a 3-year Diploma in Commercial Practice or an equivalent combination with the specified NIOS language and subject courses).
• Pass in the Senior Grade Typewriting examination (Kannada and English) conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board, or a Diploma in Secretarial Practice, or an equivalent qualification.
• Computer knowledge is essential; Kannada and English typing tests will be conducted on computer using the specified layout.

Driver

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent, and a current Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.

Process Server

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent. Preference given to candidates holding aHeavy or Light Motor Vehicle driving licence.

Peon/Attender

• Pass in SSLC or equivalent, with the ability to read and write Kannada.

Notes:

• Candidates who have appeared for qualifying examinations and are awaiting results are not eligible.
• Qualifications other than those specified will not be considered.

• Notification date: 28-08-2026 (for all four posts)
• Start of online application: 03-09-2026
• Last date to submit online application: 03-10-2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Last date to pay application fee: 03-10-2026, up to 11:59 PM
• Dates for skill/written test and interview are not specified in the notifications and will be announced on the court's website or via SMS/email.

Application Fee

• General: ₹300
• Categories 2A/2B/3A/3B: ₹150
• SC / ST / Category-1 / PWD: Exempted

Payment must be made online via SBI e-Pay Portal (net banking, credit/debit card, UPI, or QR code). Fees are non-refundable and unpaid applications will be rejected.

• Candidates should apply well before the last date to avoid any last-minute issues.
• Selected candidates will be on probation for two years and must pass prescribed examinations and Kannada language tests during this period.
• NPS applies to selected candidates. If information or certificates are found false, candidature will be canceled and criminal proceedings may follow.
• The recruitment order is subject to final orders of the Hon’ble Karnataka High Court in related matters.
