Age Limit

• Most posts: not more than 40 years as on 01-07-2026.
• Technician (Welder): not more than 40 years as on 30-06-2026.
• Relaxations: 3 years for OBC-NCL and 5 years for SC/ST; Ex-servicemen relaxation is discretionary.

Post-wise Educational Qualification

Junior Technical Assistant / Manufacturing & Maintenance

• Full-time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial Engineering/Automobile/Mechatronics/Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering (AICTE-recognized)
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in a production shop

Safety Officer

• Diploma in Industrial Safety (GoI/State recognized) AND Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science (Physics/Chemistry major)
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience desirable

Junior Technical Assistant / Civil

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering (AICTE-recognized)
• Minimum 1 year experience in civil/utility maintenance

Senior Technical Assistant / Maintenance

• Degree in Mechanical/Production/Production & Industrial Engineering/Automobile/Mechatronics/Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in a production shop

Senior Technical Assistant / Civil

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Engineering (AICTE-recognized)
• Minimum 3 years experience in civil/utility maintenance

EOT / Fork Lift / Tug Operator

• 10th Pass OR ITI certificate/proper trade training
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience for ITI; 4 years for 10th pass

Technician (Fitter)

• ITI in Fitter/machine tool maintenance/turner/welder/hydraulic/pneumatic maintenance or equivalent
• At least 1 year post-qualification experience

CNC Machine Operator

• ITI - Machinist; experience with CNC machines (more than 2 years for certain ITI streams)

Non-destructive Testing Technician

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Material Science/Metallurgy OR ITI with NDT certificate
• More than 2 years of related experience

Fitter - Mechatronics Maintenance

• ITI - Electronics/Mechatronics; or ITI with >2 years Mechatronics experience

Technician (Welder)

• ITI - Welder or ISO-certified welding qualification
• Minimum 1 year experience

All posts are based at the Rolling Stock Component Factory, Lote.

Important Dates

• Walk-in interviews: 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 27 July 2026
• Registration time: 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs on the respective interview date
• Interview venue: Kajali Club, Near RRM Office, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra

Notes: Registration is limited to a fixed three-hour window on each date. The exact post-wise schedule is provided in the notification.

Application Fee

There is no application fee mentioned in the KRCL notification for this recruitment. Selected candidates must execute an indemnity bond of Rs. 50,000 in KRCL’s favor on Rs. 100+ stamp paper.

Terms and Instructions

• This is a fixed-term contract for an initial period of 1 year, extendable based on performance and KRCL requirements.
• Selected candidates may be posted/transferred within KRCL establishments during the contract period.
• No regular KRCL absorption is promised; an undertaking to this effect will be required.
• Medical examination is mandatory before contract, and joining may be required within 30 days of offer.
• No accommodation, food, or mess allowance will be provided. Canvassing will lead to disqualification.

Documents to Carry

• Original certificates and one set of self-attested copies
• Proof of Date of Birth, qualification certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), experience certificates
• Two recent passport-sized photographs, character certificate, and other documents as specified in the annexure
