Age Details

• Candidates must be born between 02-01-1986 and 01-01-2008 (both dates included) to be eligible. Usual age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC as per government rules. The maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 years under any circumstances.

Educational Qualification

• SSLC or equivalent
• Government-approved 2-year National/State Trade Certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade

Physical and Medical

• Height: Minimum 5'2" for males and 4'9" for females
• Vision: Normal; free from colour blindness
• Physical fitness: Able to climb a 9-meter pole within 8 minutes; evaluated via Practical Test
• Medical certificate: From a Government Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon

Other

• Age limit: 18-40 years (as on the closing date) with relaxations as applicable for SC/ST/OBC; maximum age up to 50 years in certain cases as per rules
