Age Details

• Minimum age: 18 years (for all posts).
• Maximum age: 40 years for Ex-Servicemen and other specified categories; generally up to 33 years for some direct category posts with relaxations as applicable to SC/ST/OBC and forest-area residents. Applicants should refer to the official notification for precise category-wise age limits.

Educational Qualifications

• Must have passed Class 12 / PUC or an equivalent examination from a recognised board.
• Eligible candidates may include:
  • Class 12 with CBSE, ICSE, any State Board, or equivalent
  • Class 12 equivalent from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling)
  • A 2-year ITC/Diploma (NVBT) with one language and one academic subject from NIOS
  • A 3-year Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic institution (treated as equivalent to PUC for direct recruitment)

Kannada Language Requirement

• Candidates must have studied Kannada as a first or second language up to SSLC/10th standard. Those who have not done so must pass a Kannada Language Test conducted by KEA.
