Sr. Scientist-cum-Head

• Essential: Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences including relevant basic sciences with 8 years of experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 (Rs 15600-39100) with grade pay of Rs 5400/6000/7000/8000. Desirable: Ph.D. in Agriculture Extension, Agronomy, Agriculture Plant Breeding, Livestock Production, Horticulture, Home Sciences (Community Sciences), Agriculture Engineering, Fisheries, Agro-forestry, Soil Science and Plant Protection.
• Experience in handling extension and monitoring of extension programmes.

Subject Matter Specialist

• Master’s Degree in Agricultural Entomology or Plant Pathology or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
